PHX: “Watercolor Botanicals” w/ Linda Pullinsi!

Join Linda Pullinsi in this 3 hour class where you’ll learn to paint a beautiful pair of botanicals even if you’ve never painted before! She’ll provide references, so be sure to bring your favorite paints and brushes (two 5×7″ Arches watercolor papers will be taped to a board already prepared for you).

Botanicals have been popular for hundreds of years and they never go out of style! They make wonderful gifts and these little gems are easy to create as no two flowers grow exactly alike. The beginning of the class will be spent drawing your impressions of your favorite plants and flowers. Most of the class time will be spent painting, after an easy to follow demonstration in color mixing and control. Lastly, students will add wet-into-wet matching boarders and some fine details which’ll quickly and easily add sophistication to their work.

Whether you are brand new to the medium or have experience, but want a reason to pick up your brush again, you are sure to have fun and enjoy this class!
