Sketch\, paint\, and learn some fun techniques to watercolor and ink painting from the photos Grace will provide for this class. \nGrace suggests bringing any watercolor paints you already have or feel comfortable using. If you’re looking for some recommendations\, Grace likes to use Holbein\, Winsor Newton\, Daniel Smith\, and/or Schmincke watercolor paints in the colors listed below on the supply list. \nStudents will need to bring their own supplies for this class. She’ll provide references\, so be sure to bring your favorite paints and brushes (two 5×7″ Arches watercolor papers will be taped to a board already prepared for you). \nBotanicals have been popular for hundreds of years and they never go out of style! They make wonderful gifts and these little gems are easy to create as no two flowers grow exactly alike. The beginning of the class will be spent drawing your impressions of your favorite plants and flowers. Most of the class time will be spent painting\, after an easy to follow demonstration in color mixing and control. DESCRIPTION:Join Carla Cebrelli every Monday from 10:00am -1:00pm for a fun and comprehensive multimedia class that is open to all skill levels! Create colorful art and improve your drawing skills using the elements and principles of composition\, value\, and color theory. You may use graphite pencil\, charcoal\, colored pencil or watercolor pencils. (Ask to include your favorite medium!) The instructor will supply reference photos but artists are encouraged to bring photos of their choice.  This class is open to beginners through advanced artists\, so don’t be afraid to attend! Everyone will receive individual attention and guidance from Carla.
